But he graduates from college, and, supported by his fine wife, Tammy, a strong love for his two children and a powerful Christian faith, he carves out a career as a successful police officer. As such, he devotes much of his energies to helping, both practically and by example, those of his African American brothers and sisters who have (and how easy it can be) fallen foul of our legal system. Rodney's story is inspirational and especially so to Black Americans.
