First of all this potato ricer was rated the best from Americas test kitchen. Believe me, it is true! We bought a metal one from our highly recommended kitchen store in our city and it broke after one try! We returned it and ordered this one. We were skeptical because it is plastic. But its amazing. I have a garlic tool like this and wanted one for a second home. This works much better and is more heavy duty than the one I now own. I chopped 6 cloves and the little drawer held it all. Works well. Easy to clean, pops in the dishwasher
