SAMSUNG Jet Bot Robot Vacuum with Intelligent Power Control

I received this vacuum cleaner from Samsung for product testing purposes. We live in an apartment with a mix of laminate, carpet and lino flooring. Having a cat in the house means there's a bit of pet hair! The robot is really easy to setup and get going, the Smart Things app is intuitive setting things like no-go zones are a breeze. Initially while mapping I thought it would probably nose-dive down the stairs but it's been fine. The results are really good too the rotary 'fingers' being particularly good. It's scheduled for a clean just as we leave the house in the morning, there's something quite satisfying sitting at your work desk watching it do the cleaning via the app. Copes surprisingly well with changes to flooring and it's interesting to hear how it changes vacuum as floors and dirt levels change and leaves Wimbledon stripes in the rug too. I don't want to go back to a regular vacuum now! Looks cool and is really quiet

I received this vacuum cleaner from Samsung for product testing purposes. I've never really considered owning a robotic vacuum before - both because I thought the setup might be an involved process and that I would need another vacuum to do the stairs. Well, having a decent sized home with fairly large rooms, each with either solid wood or hard vinyl installed, the JetBot changed my mind quite quickly! The room scanning with the LiDAR is superb. You can see a plan of your room appear on the Smart things app I'm seconds, and the whole of your house start to take shape before your eyes. Very impressed. I have a black labrador with sheds a good number of hairs around the house and being black against lighter coloured flooring the floor looks clean for about ten minutes after vacuuming usually. With the jet bot you can just select the room to clean from the app and hey presto, your room is clean and hair free with zero effort! You can also drag a square on your phone screen to cover an area of your home to spot clean and the JetBot obliges immediately. There are many options to tailor the cleaning process to your liking, and I especially like the self emptying process when the JetBot returns to its base. You can also control the JetBot from out and about - I tested through the Smart Things app with my phone WiFi disabled and it worked over mobile data. I was also very impressed with the JetBots ability to clean surfaces that are raised off the floor. I have freestanding speakers and kitchen stools that both have bases that are up off the floor. The JetBot lifts itself up and cleans those areas perfectly as well! I am completely convinced of the benefits of owning a robotic vacuum now - yes you'll still have to do the stairs with another vacuum, but that is all you will have to do. We will be purchasing one as we will miss it!
