Once I decided on the Odessa Cobalt Platinum pattern by Noritake, and then received it extremely fast by the way………….I knew I made the right decision. This china set is gorgeous, and the exquisite craftsmanship on every piece of china in this collection is undeniable! In 2005 my mother gave me the Noritake Casablanca china set that my father gave my mother for Christmas in 1969. I always loved our Noritake Casablanca china growing up, because it made our holiday dinners so very special! I wanted to purchase a new set of china to start my own holiday dinner traditions, and there was never a doubt in my mind that it had to be from Noritake!
