Very Noisy

I searched reviews with particular attention to the thoughts on noise. This Moen disposal was listed in a recent Consumer Reports article and was evaluated as better than most for noise. My experience is quite different. Of the 4 garbage disposals I have in my house, this is by far the nosiest. It sounds like something is permanently lodged inside the disposal. Unfortunately you don't find this out until after you have paid someone to install it. So I'm stuck, but would not consider buying another Moen.
