Kichler Lighting - Wall Sconce - Sylvia - 2 Light Wall Sconce In Mid-Century

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this Sylvia 2 Light Wall Sconce a ten star rating! It is gorgeous! I expected it to be heavy, but when it came I was pleasantly surprised with it. I waited for my husband to have time to put it up, but while watching him, I know I could have done it myself! It is perfect for putting light on a specific area, I crochet and cross stitch, so this is perfect above my chair. I like the metal shades, so much easier to dust off than regular shades. I am really very happy with this wall sconce and expect to enjoy it for years to come.

As a Gen X consumer I've had my fill of brass and shiny yellow things everyyyywhere. However they are completely different now than they were in the past. The gold has such a deep tone, and the matte surface texture lends a subtlety and elegance that is unmatched. I chose this particular fixture for a one wall in my entryway. I love that I can direct the lighting depending on the mood or art placement that I'd like to highlight at any given time. It has a modern aesthetic but has classic, transitional lines. That's very important to me as I am not keen on replacing my fixtures every 5 years when things go out of style. If you're looking for timeless elegance and fantastic adjustable lighting this fixture is perfect.
