It's Fine but I'm Disappointed
Disappointed in the poorer quality of this piece than was expected for this price point. True it is nice sold wood, but at virtually every seam and bend there are gap cracks in the paint. Fortunately from a distance guests will never notice, but I cringed with every piece I took out of the box that showed this. Also the so-called “chess board” that is “built into” the table - a major factor in my selection of this particular table - is merely a sticker laid on the table, which was not evenly cut and has some waviness. I suppose I underestimated the impact of inflation, and had much higher expectations for a table at this pricing. I'm keeping it, I'll get used to it and it's not worth the hassle of returning and starting my search all over again. But I probably would not have made this purchase had I known about the paint imperfections and had the “built in” chess board been accurately described.
