I had it easy: I had a wall box ready to go for this one. So the install is trivial: screw-in the backing plate, wire it up, and hang it up. As others have noted, it's not super bright, but for me that was fine. It has 1x on one side and 5x on the other. I find 5x a lot of magnification. Anyway it went in easy and works well. I'm glad I got a unit with just a single arm piece instead of two, because I think it will be less shaky.
