The Rivers Edge Lockdown™ 21’ Wide 1 person features an extra-wide flip-up, TearTuff™ mesh seat providing all day comfort and the ability to stand while shooting. This stand features the Ultimate Shooting Rail™ that can be adjusted for both height and length. This unique design allows you to tuck the shooting rail away into a designated slot on the platform. At 21’ tall the Lockdown™ 21’ Wide ladder stand features added height bowhunters prefer. You can ratchet the platform tight to the tree before ever leaving the ground, with our patent pending Ground-Level Ratcheting™ technology. This clever system allows the user to pull the platform straps up to the top of the stand while standing on the ground and ratchet them tight to the tree.
- More Secure – The Lockdown™ Ground-Level Ratcheting Technology allows you to ratchet your stand securely to the tree by pulling the top of the stand into the tree just like a conventional ratchet strap, but allows you to do it from the ground. This technology works regardless of tree diameter – allowing you to use small or very large trees.
- Safe to Take Down – The Ground-Level Ratchet Straps remain tight and can be loosened and removed at ground level should you ever need to move your ladder stand.

We have many of these stands out as part of an outfitting business. All the hunters including myself love them. The only real issues we see are the lockdown straps will make a humming noise in high wind if left tight and not tied mid ladder. Also, when left out all year, the shooting rail adjustment will rust and not move by year 2.
