Flimsy and defective while being overpriced.
If the quality was good I don't mind paying the price. But I bought 2 of these chairs for $600 each from lamps plus in December 2020. By April 2021 one of them already started collapsing into the brass base so swivel is restricted and also makes a creaking sound when you sit on it. These chairs are used in our music room infrequently by 9 and 10 year old lean kids. So not used carelessly at all. Lamps plus is great with warranty so they allowed us to exchange the defective one. But the new one that arrived has the same problem. So the manufacturing or assembly has defect. I'm going to try to exchange again but I won't recommend taking the risk with these chairs. They should be discontinued.
