My 2016 Prius C is purring like a kitten

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2016 Prius C is purring like a kitten. Not really as it's a very quiet car but I got 3 more quarts of this fine motor oil and changed it myself. A bit of a project but since this will be my last car with an ice engine it might be nostalgic in the future.

Great product

I normally use vr1 conventional in my built h22 and built 355. I went for the synthetic this time around in the h22. It held up great with a 5,000 mile oci. I'm sure it could have went alot longer. But my tune has been a little rich so I did a 5k. Great oil

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oil meets the requirements for the engine in my '62 Buick Skylark. The car has a stock 215 V8 which, like most engines of that era, have a flat tappet cam and lifters which require ZDDP to properly lubricate. Off the shelf oil does not contain that compound any longer, even the oils for diesel engines. this requires the use of more expensive racing oils and the Valvoline VR1 meets all the requirements and is available as both synthetic and conventional. The price of the synthetic is not much greater than the conventional when purchased as a 6 quart lot. Packaging is great too and smells like oil lol
