My son was so excited to try out his new space helmet! Having a fun design makes it so much easier to convince him to wear it. He is 7, but has a bigger head than many of his peers. It fits him well! I think we will easily get a few years of use before he needs anything bigger.

I got the Schwinn Multi-Sport helmet for my granddaughter to use while riding her bike. The style is called the Prospect in grey for youths aged 8 and up. The first thing I noticed was that it is lightweight, but it also seems very sturdy. It has a nice soft pad all the way around inside the helmet and down the center in the top. It also has venting too you don't overheat while wearing it. The size seems to be accurate and it is easy to do the fitting. There is a dial in the back of the helmet for easy adjustments in size. The chin strap is also adjustable so the helmet is easy to get a good snug fit. I also like that it is multi-sport ASTMF1492 certified, so it could be used for more than cycling. Hopefully it will never really be needed, but I feel good knowing that she is protected while riding on her bike.
