Hammer Braid Line utilizes a proprietary process where the individual fibers are pretreated prior to the braiding process to maximize the lines’ overall strength while decreasing the diameter. The diameter is smaller than similar 4-carrier braids in the same pound test. The pre-treating process increases the line knot strength up to 20% over standard 4-carrier braids.
During the pre-treating process, the molecular construction of the fiber changes, allowing the realignment of the fibers to create a smoother surface. The smoother surface allows for longer, quieter casts, and that pass-through line guides effortlessly.
