Boogie Board Jot Reusable Writing Tablet 8.5" with Protective Folio, Gold

I received this boogie board and did not know what to expect. I needed a distraction for the car ride, and OMG my son loves using this thing. It is not like your usual white board, he uses this board to write intro on for everything. This is also a great learning tool. It does need a battery since I don't know how it works but when you push the button to reset it gives a blinking motion and erases your notes/picture. The pin could get lost so I tied it on with string.

Really neat little notepad. I like that I can take it with me on the go and write with the stylus. It writes clear, and very bright to be able to read. The erase button is a really cool feature, with one press of the button everything is gone. I haven't downloaded the app yet, but it says that if you do you can even save your notes. Me, it's more useful to write a note that I need to remember for right then. Not for later use. But I might download the app anyways to see what other features it has. It looks like a mini flat version of a tablet or ipad. There is a little slot to rest the stylus in or you can stick it in the hole between the cover and the board and have it like a kickstand. It has magnets on the back which is neat if I wanted to write a note and hang it on the refrigerator to remind myself of something. I think it's pretty neat idea. The only thing I worry about is if I wrote something important and it gets erased or if the battery dies and the note was on there. Besides that it's a very neat little item. I would recommend for kids or for yourself to write notes at home.
