Great Tires for me

I am very picky about tires; I need comfort and low road noise. These were great. Wore very well and evenly. Dry traction was fine. Not quite as good on wet surfaces as the Bridgestone Ecopia's they replaced, but about $30 less a tire, so that was a plus. Absolutely would buy again. Much better tire than the 170's. Great value.

Quite soft ride

I've only driven about 200kms on the tires so far but the corner well, nice and smooth. Pricewise they're great. Wont comment on Durability as I Haven't driven them too far. So far so good!

On my second set

My all time favorite Firestone tire is the LH-30, which I bought every time I could until they stopped making them. Compared to those, no other tire has ever excited me. The Champion Fuel Fighters are okay and a decent value. I got 90,000 miles out of the first set, but then I usually get more than the guaranteed life out of any set (I'm not a particularly aggressive driver - I drive for a living and don't care for spending my entire day trying to compete with everyone who believes freeways are race tracks). I had hoped to get another summer out of these and replace them in the fall just before winter, but they started squealing on freeway entrance ramps and I was an easy sell. I did not notice much if any difference in gas mileage compared to any previous set, usually low 40s in summer and high 30s in winter. I recall only once did the vehicle have a hard time negotiating a hill in winter with these tires, but it was snowing very hard and every other vehicle was also having difficulty getting up any kind of grade.
