These items are sold based off the hole opening they are made to fit. For example, if your hole opening in your floor measures 4" x 10" then you will want to order a 4" x 10" register. The register you receive will then measure 5 1/2" x 11 1/2" overall. Sierra Grates Floor Registers have a 1.5mm thick steel faeplate. This product does have a attached damper that allows you to open and close off airflow.
