Story of faith of young immigrant girl

I was lucky enough to read Ida's witness, a biography of the author's great-grandmother. It was a sweet and heart-warming story of his immigrant great-grandmother as she struggled through many hardships in her youth. As she finds the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she shares of her conversion and her testimony of her new found religion. The story is very sweet and children will learn of the struggles of the earlier generations and how they are both different and similar to those of the struggles we deal with today. And how despite their hardships, made a good life for their families and descendants. It's a beautiful story and full of faith and trust in God. I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.
