Monoprice Elements Speaker Stand - 28 Inch (Pair) With Cable Management, Strong Tempered Glass Base With Floor Spikes

I ordered these on something of a prayer. Looking at all the photos, they would have you thinking that the uprights are black and white. I could have used the white as an accent color in my room but was happy to see that they are indeed black on all sides. Good looking floor and speaker plates in a smoked glass that are not too big, not too small. Should be good for all but large stand mount speaker styles. Now, these are not high end stands and the delivered package was quite light. The uprights are made of aluminum and weigh very little. Easy enough to put together and need a tiny bit of tweaking to get it all squared up but they sit flat on the ground and are plenty stable and you could add sand or such to the tubes before final assembly if you like. All in all a good value but Monoprice needs to get the correct photos put up as I'm sure the two tone look is a turn off for many buyers.

After comparing different bookshelf speaker stand options online, these were a very competitive price. The glass and metal components give them a quality look, but there are a few plastic pieces that will bend if the base of the stand is overtightened during assembly. All in all a great deal.
