Ultimate Shirt

This is the ultimate long-sleeved shirt! I've tried all the other outdoor brands, the Eddie Bauer guide shirt is my favourite. Material breathes well, is water repellent, and seems quite durable (only caveat, haven't had it for very long, so will see how it holds up). button up sleeves are great, button down collar. Stylish enough to wear to work, actually I think its the best looking shirt I have. A bit long for me to wear untucked, but I have a short torso, so all my shirts are too long - these ones are worth taking to the tailor to get shortened. Value excellent too, especially at sale prices! I bought three!

Fantastic Shirt

This is a light shirt built for warm to hot weather activities. I like the fit, especially the arm length since my arms are longer than average. I ordered several so that I can alternate between them while being laundered. Also this shirt doesn't have the large vent flap in the shoulder area. This has been minimized on the shirt. The shirt is also perfect for layering.

So I got the "light gray" color, which is actually a very fine "screen" pattern of dark lines on white. Very nice as a dress shirt look. Under a jacket, this shirt passes as a dressy travel shirt, for those days when every temperature needs to be anticipated. If you HAVE to be stuck on an overcrowded,, overheated tarmac bus for an extended period of time, THIS is the shirt you want to be wearing.
