Instructions

Stovetop - From Ambient **This product is raw and must be cooked in order to enjoy its delicious flavor. **1. In a heavy 2 qt. saucepan, sauté contents of rice pouch in 1 tbsp. olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes. **2. Add 2 1/2 cups water and contents of seasoning pouch. Stir well and bring to a boil. **3. Reduce heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender. **4. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese, if desired. **Serve Hot.

Bought on a whim

I bought this rice mix just to try. I'll be purchasing more. Everyone liked it. We love mushrooms so this product is a great accompaniment for bbq steaks or chicken or even portobello burgers.
