Bought this for patio deck. I read the instructions after opening and it suggested 100lb weight. Did not have so didn't put up. But I pulled out the umbrella and it was heavy. Nice color. None of the ribs broke. Let it out the most I could and this is huge. Big enough for my 2 chairs and table. Feels like the construction is sturdy. For the size, this was great deal on the price.

I love this thing. I bought this one because it said it was a little bigger than all the rest Ive bought elsewhere and it is true to size. Not too big but it definitely provides more shade coverage than any other I've purchased. I do have a small deck out back. It is approximately 12'x15' it does not shade the whole thing. You can tilt it towards the sun and that really helps provide shade. You of course will have to angle the umbrella with a slight manual turn into the sun as the day progresses.
