The entire Hormel Compleat line is great when you consider the fact that the majority of them use natural, readable ingredients, the price is around $2 a unit (I've found that Wal-Mart has the lowest price on these, always), they take 1 minute to cook and the calories are reasonable. At this price point I don't expect to have food that Gordon Ramsay would enjoy; I only expect something edible and these often surpass my low expectations. Going in with realism in mind, I think that they are exceptionally good, considering. I like to keep a few of these laying around as a convenience and they don't require refrigeration so storage is simple. I am very pleased and I wish Wal-Mart would carry their full line of entrees regularly.

Worst spaghetti ever!
I bought this product thinking it would be tasty like the other ones I have eaten, but no! It's ingredients have water and tomato paste plus others, but it is so unbalanced of a taste because it literally tastes like you have spaghetti noodles in only tomato paste. I am highly disappointed. It is so sour any palate would be disgusted. It really makes me wonder if you have any of your own executives tasting your product before it actually hits the shelves. If you only rely on people from survey companies to test the products, then you are doing yourself a disservice. Please create a new spaghetti meal, because these are horrid!

Ready when you are you.

My husband has used these at work for some time. They are shelf stable so can keep on hand for days he would otherwise miss lunch. Just pop in the microwave for lunch. They must be good because he requested on his rotation of supplies. And now that shopping is limited they are on our shelf at home.

Great bargain, taste and easy to store

Verified purchase

My husband and I discovered how good and easy Compleats meals during COVID-19 stock up. I like them better than any frozen meals I've tried. They are very tasty and filling yet low in calories.

My compliments to the Compleats kitchen team

The Compleats spaghetti is better than the Chef Boyardee. Complex spices in the tomato sauce make these a delicious quick meal. Since there are no fast-food Italian places, these are perfect when you want the taste of spaghetti NOW.

Easy meal & good value

We love all of the Hormel Completes. If I don't have time to cook, they make a quick & tasty meal. My husband takes them to work for lunch if we don't have leftovers to pack. They taste like homemade and do not have any chemical aftertaste. I could eat them everyday. They are also very economical. For around $2.00, you can have a hot and hearty lunch or dinner. Certainly cheaper than eating out!!

7. NO! None of the Compleats need to be refrigerated before eating. That is why I can purchase these online and have them shipped to my home address. Well worth the price.

8. Yes, a little, but this is mostly a thick tomato sauce with just a little pasta and ground beef.

9. Yep. I would estimate about an ounce or a tad more of small chunks of beef mixed in with the sauce.

5. Yes it does and the pieces are large enough you can actually see them and taste them. I think they could have put more in it but the spaghetti sauce is thick and the meal is delicious so I am okay with the meat amount.
