Osprey Hydraulics Reservoir

I just got mine and maybe Osprey fixed the top attachment hook breaking issue and the plastic taste issue. Mine does not have a hook, it's a hole in the center (see image) that you have to slide the attachment clip from the bag and fasten it. Also there is no plastic taste. I didn't even rinse mine and don't taste any plastic. This is replacement for a Camelbak crux that I did not like. The Osprey is a far superior product, pretty impressed so far.

I bought this as my platypus was incredibly hard to get in my new talon 33. No such problem with the old bag. It provides taste free water in a reservoir but the mouthpiece has no cover so goes in the dirt when you put your bag down. The reinforcement helps insertion but makes it heavier than is ideal. Beware the magnet fixing. It can mess with your compass leading to you getting lost. Nice snappy idea but best to ditch it if you value your safety.
