[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lightweight blanket. Perfect for summer. But you can use it any time of year. You can add a heavier blanket under it. It has a Boho vibe. Simple and natural looking. It's cotton so you won't overheat or feel cold. I would like to see this style in other colors. Right now I'm using it in fall weather and it's enough with it and the sheet. My favorite part about is that it keeps me warm but never overheats me.

It fits my queen size guest bed perfectly with lots of overhang, but also works on my king size bed as an accent throw. For it's thinness, it does provide cozy warmth. This will be great in the summertime for hot sleepers or as an extra blanket between your sheet and comforter in the winter. I've also used it in the living room as a throw. The material isn't scratchy, but I'm hoping it will soften up some with washings. Definitely the most versatile blanket I own! It's attractive and useful...just perfect! The blanket also arrives tied with a beautiful bow and is perfect for gift giving.
