This desk is great! It's very sturdy. It's larger than a normal laptop desk. PLENTY of room for you laptop and then some. It was fairly easy to put together, would have been faster with another set of hands but I did well alone. It's perfect for someone that wants to work from home and stay on the couch. I love the cubby areas, that was the main reason I wanted this one. Now I have room for all my other random things to sit out of the way.

The desk was not to hard to assemble for one person. Everything you need including the tools to assemble the desk came in the package. I spray painted the metal pieces for a more personal touch but it's sturdy desk that's well worth the price.
