I purchased this tv stand with great excitement but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I almost wonder if I was sent the display. There were numerous scratches and missing pieces of wood. There were nicks all over this item. A lot not noticeable until my son assembled it. The only reason I kept it was because my son worked so hard assembling it. I had to buy a furniture repair marker to try and camouflage all the nicks. Very disappointed in how this item was sent out to me. The box was overly taped which is indicative of the item being out of the box then replaced. Had I not got it on sale I would return it!!!!

The base looks very high-end. The fabric on the shade is likewise very nice, but I do not like this new trend of the wrap-around, Velcro style lampshade. You can see the line where the lampshade is put together. The finials are lightweight, but look good. Overall, these are excellent lamps for the price, though. I would purchase them again.
