Wasted days...
This VFD arrived defective out of the box... I installed it exactly according to the wiring diagram and verified all motor windings (3‑phase, ~9.2–9.3Ω per phase). The motor is healthy and correctly connected to U/V/W with no switches, relays, or loads in between. Despite correct wiring and configuration, the drive will not accept keypad commands, will not adjust output frequency, and will not energize the motor at any Hz. The RUN and Hz indicators illuminate, but the drive produces zero output voltage on U/V/W. The keypad appears used and functional but the drive does not respond to RUN/STOP or frequency changes. All installation variables were eliminated and the motor was tested independently. The only remaining conclusion is that the output stage or control logic is defective... Additionally, the unit requires %236 fork terminals for the motor/output connections, a size that is extremely hard to source locally. I had to special‑order the correct %236 mini‑forks from overseas just to make the connections this VFD requires. Even after doing that and wiring it exactly as specified, the unit still failed to operate...
