Space saver

Frigidaire beverage center is 2.6 cubic feet is a great space saver for the main fridge. I use this fridge to store my water bottles; it holds 15 bottles of 16.9oz on the bottom shelf, and 30 bottles of 8oz on the second shelf and 15 bottles of 8oz on the first shelf. On top of that it don't take that must space ( 17.5in wide and 25in tall) and it not noisy. I replace the same place that I store water with the fridge. It also have a cool blue light that my son (15 months) love to cut on. All the shelves are adjustable, there are two wire shelf and one glass shelf. You can set temperature to your liking (40 to 61 degrees Fahrenheit ) even though the default temperature is 43 degrees Fahrenheit. It took about two hours when I first used the fridge to cool. I love this mini fridge the only thing I wish for was some type of safety latch to keep fridge close, because it is very easy to open by my little one.

Nice looking drink storage

This Frigidaire 25 Bottles and 60 Can Beverage Center, EFMIS9000 is very nice looking with the light on inside. You can turn the light off if desired but it is a blue led so it does not use much power (see power details below). The thermostat is electronic and controlled by pushing a plus and minus button to set the temp. seems to work great. It draws 1/2 watt with the light off and compressor not running and 1.1 watts with the light on and compressor off so the light only uses .6 watts. With the compressor running and the light on it draws about 50 watts (when if first kicks on it is drawing over 60 watts briefly then slowly drops below 50watts and draws about 47 watts for about half the time) With the thermostat set at 43degrees it runs about 10 minutes it shuts off after reaching 43, it actually reads 43 for a few minutes before it shuts off but never goes below 43. It then maintains temperature for a half an hour or so and kicks on again. One thing I noticed right away is that the interior, unlike any other fridge I have seen, is black. I never gave the interior color a thought until I opened this. Normally fridges have white interiors but with a glass door and the blue led lights the white would not look as good but the black color inhibits visibility inside. This could make it harder to keep clean if you decided to use it for food or other items that could spill. The interior is quite spacious so it could be used in a pinch for extra storage of food items by removing/adjusting shelves. A couple things I really like about the glass door is that the glass door allows you contemplate what you are going to grab before opening it, avoiding the dreaded standing in front of the open fridge figuring out what you want. That is an additional little energy saver that may help offset any additional energy loss that may be caused by the glass. Being able to see what the temperature is at a glance is real piece of mind plus the glass door just looks better (with the light on). Note that there is very little clearance on the bottom so it can not be placed on carpet because the door will rub on the carpet and be difficult to open. I needs to be placed on a flat relatively firm surface like a countertop, furniture or hard floor. In order to store bottles you will need to remove at least one shelf if you plan on standing them upright. The shelves are easily removed and adjusted. It makes a little noise when it runs but nothing intolerable, even in a quiet area and it would not be noticeable in a active area. Though sometimes it is louder than others Pros: 1. Blue switchable led light inside looks great 2. Glass door provides visibility of contents and temperature. 3. adjustable shelves 4. spacious interior 5. Low power consumption 6. Frigidaire is a name I trust. Hopefully this will not let me down. Cons: 1. Grey exterior paint is a little bland looking though my wife likes it. Overall I would recommend primarily as a drink fridge which could also be used for occasional food storage. One improvement that could be added is a light switch on the outside so you don't have to open the fridge to turn the light off. Time will tell how often I actually turn the light off and on so I am not sure if this will ever become annoying.

Mini Fridge

This Frigidaire mini fridge is useful to keep cans and bottles chilled. It holds 60 cans and 10 bottles. It has a digital temperature control. The only annoying thing is you have to press the button one by one for each degree you go up 9r down (you can't hold it down). The shelves slide out, so its easy to clean. Its a good size fridge to fit a decent qmount, but also small enough to fit in small space. Dimensions are 17.50"×19.33"x25". I like the glass door, so you can see what you have inside without having to open the door. The inside also has a blue light. The temperature range is 61°F-40°F, with adjustments available in 1° increments. I found that the packaging made it very easy to place the fridge, as the box lifted up. I have this down in my basement filled with wines. This would also be great for man caves/she shed or even a dorm room if allowed. With the shelves able to be moved, its flexible in what you could chill in the fridge. I've only had this a week so far, but I've had no issues yet with it.
