As she straightens her hair, you can see the shine appear as she glides down each section, too cool! She has fairly thick and textured hair but this tool smooths out her locks in one steady pass! The swivel cord is nice and also has a loop for hanging the iron. The outside does get hot so she wears a straightening glove. When she uses it as a curling iron, she makes it look effortless, I wish I had that skill. Great 2 in 1 iron!
