Disappointed

Delivered on time, a gorgeous blue. I deliberately ordered a Cal king so it would completely cover our king including the pillows, box springs, and metal frame. We put it on bed and it was perfect! However, it really smelled bad so I rinsed and dried it on cold per instructions with a Downy sheet. It shrank more than 12 inches! You can plainly see the box spring and metal frame now. So disappointing
