I purchased this replacement grill (Genesis II, E310) in June, it was heavily used over the summer & fall. The thing that I noticed is that since the burners now are front-to-back instead of side-to-side, I only use one or two burners and I have a "cool spot" to put cooked food off to the side so I don't incinerate it. I purchased the iGrill to monitor product temp, but I can't get my family to use it??? Another reason that I bought this grill was that my earlier Weber stainless gas grill was 15 years old, working pretty well, but the new grill had add'l features like the burner alignment. My son-in-law is using the older grill and it still works great.

Quality & Performance
I assembled this grill myself which gave me a firsthand look at the quality of the parts and design. I use the grill two to three times per week and have had no performance issues. The grill provides very even heat across the entire surface, so my food cooks as planned with no over/under cooked surprises. The Weber grill app is spot on for determining grill times and temperatures. I also recommend the Weber grill cover for this model. It slides on and off very easily, protects the grill and looks attractive. I have owned three Weber charcoal grills, and this is my first gas grill. They are never the cheapest grills, but their quality and performance make them the best value.

Hot and reliable
We have only had this grill for a month, but over about half a dozen uses, this grill appears to be excellent. It gets hot very quickly (550 degrees), and has consistently cooked fish (salmon, halibut, etc.), chicken, and turkey burgers, as well as vegetables and polenta, etc. Steaks and beef burgers are next, and we can't wait to see how they turn out.
