It looked like it could be more functional due to the picture, but they are just pretend with some functional items. The mop was probably the worst item in this set. The picturea made it look like a small mop, but it is like dryer sheets cut into strips on the mop. The mop is definitely not like the picture.the handles to the mop and broom are made of the cheap hard plastic that will break easily.bought for a Christmas gift so she hasn't used it yet.I wouldn't recommend this at all.
