Clement Faugier Chestnut Puree from Ardeche - 15.5 oz. EXP 06-2021

This pure unsweetened gourmet chestnut puree can be used to make a soup, a chestnut souffle Mont-bry, a chestnut charlotte, or to accompany poultry or meat, to name just a few possibilities.

You can also use it to make Mont Blanc, which consists of a base of meringue covered with a dome of chestnut puree topped with wipped cream.

Chestnut puree is different from chestnut jam. However you can use it as a basis to prepare your own chestnut jam by cooking it with water, sugar, and vanilla (optional).
