This item is reasonably priced. it arrived quickly, and it was relatively easy to assemble. There 8 to 12 screws, and the tools needed were included in the package. All holes lined up, and with 20 to 25 minutes, the box was assembled. there are no springs. it is more of a platform. This is a metal frame, which i believe will work well with the Memory Foam mattress.
