I'm 57 years old and I have dry skin! I absolutely love this product. I has soft rose smell and has a dense but nice consistency that slips in nicely after I wash my face. When I use it at night I feel refreshed, hydrated and ready for my day. My redness is so improved! Thank you LaMer

FAKE LA MER. VERY FAKE. BUYER BEWARE.

Buyer Beware - this is not authentic La Mer. You may or may not believe all of the claims about how wonderful Authentic La Mer is. I happen to believe that it works. I have used the cream for 22 years. I decided to order this because I was shocked at the low price and wanted to see what was going on for myself. Once the fake La Mer package arrived, the item was such a ridiculous dupe that I can't even be upset. It is laughable. I called Walmart Customer Service immediately and they were quick to apologize and offer a refund. I'm sharing this info in the hopes it may help someone else. Authentic vs counterfeit
I've now been using this moisturizer for 18 years, I try to avoid buying on Walmart but with the prices so cheap I couldn't resist, the first couple products I bought ended up being counterfeit obviously and here is what too look for, the package should have a 3d feel to the logo, the cap should be a little darker like a peach color, the logo is fine to be a little dark, I've noticed they misprint colors all the time and the cream should smell a little like tangerine, these are what to look for in this product. Now I decided to buy it one more time and sure enough it was the authentic one, I went for the 3.4 oz because all the other options were too cheap and obviously counterfeit, I believe the seller also has to do with something, I saw i...

Manufacturing date!
I checked the date of manufacture with a cosmetic calculator because since I started using the product I have skin problems (some itching and redness). I found out the manufacturing date is Feb 2020. The general shelf life is almost expired (36 months) or expired (30 months before opening).

DON'T DO IT!
I had no problem with my first order and was so happy I found my beloved face cream at a better price. Because, let's face it, the price at department stores is ridiculous. But my second order was a heartbreaker. First: I waited over 3 weeks for the order and I called to speak to a Walmart representative who was very nice and helped me. He tracked the order down and said it was on the way, so I didn't cancel my order. Second: keep in mind that this cream comes from a third party. In my case the third party was called "Wonderful Magic." Third: when I opened the jar something wasn't right. The cream was all fluffy. Anyone who is using this cream knows that Creme de La Mer is not fluffy. Like a dope I put it on my face anyway. It burned right...
