The Original Gold® 9550A Aqua Wash brushes are different than 9550 Wash Glaze series because the Aqua handle is made from high grade acrylic plastic. The brush handle is waterproof and is built with a beveled edge. The edge at the bottom of the brush can be used as a scraper or palette painting knife. A favorite for watercolor artists.

Wash brushes hold lots of water and color and are great for applying large amounts of color in shading, highlighting, background painting and more! Also useful for wetting the surface, and for absorbing excess media. These bristles have great snap and will form right back to their original shape.The Original Gold® Wash brushes have premium Golden Taklon bristles that are sleek and long and come to a square edge with a wide, flat body.
