Tape AIT-2 AME 50-130GB 230m

The SDX2-50C is a storage media tape designed for AIT-2 drives with a native capacity of 50 GB and compressed capacity of 130 GB on a 230m tape. It features 's patented AME technology that maximizes the quality of recording by depositing a 100% pure cobalt layer directly on to the base film without adhesive or binders. The tape also has a DLC coating on the surface that maximizes reliability and life. Additionally, it has a MIC chip with a memory of 64K, allowing it to store file tables and table of contents for quick access and increased data integrity.
