love the cast iron! it's heavy duty! preseasoned! i use parchment paper because helps dough to spead evenly! i use top and bottom! it also helps the cast iron black not to rub off onto dough. but it's made to last a lifetime and one you'll pass on to kids one day! for the first few times I suggest using parchment paper! other wise you'll end up still having to roll dough.
