Great for those with adjustable dumbbells
I've got a pair of 71.5lb adjustable dumbbells (AtivaFit). There are a number of exercises that are difficult (or in some cases, impossible) to do at home using just the dumbbells. In the case of hip thrusts, balancing a dumbbell on your waist is not only cumbersome, but it's not enough weight (and trying to balance two 70lb dumbbells on your waist cannot be done at all). I was looking around for adjustable barbells and they're just so expensive. Came across this product entirely by accident, but it works perfectly. I use it for deadlifts, hip thrusts, skull crushers and upright rows. While it says it accommodates dumbbells that have handles that are 1.5” in diameter, I can say it can handle larger than that. The foam inserts in the inside of the “clasp” are removable, giving an extra bit of room. I needed to do this because my dumbbells were just a hair too large due to their “comfort grip handles”. Removing one of the two foam inserts from each clasp did the trick and they fit great.
