These shoes are gorgeous and very comfortable with smooth cushioned leather at the heel. I rated a 4 star, because the gold "C" on the shoes were ever so slightly scratched on each shoe. That was a mystery, because the shoes came beautifully wrapped with protection. These are so pretty and practical, that I went back to order a pair of these for my twenty something-ish daughter to wear for a stylish professional look- BUT they went up almost double in price from when I ordered them! These could be a brand dupe of two particular designers that I can think of- but they stand on their own Clarks pedestal in their own right. Oh- how I wish they had not been scratched (I still kept them). And oh- how I wish they had not gone up in price overnight, because I most certainly would have ordered my daughter a pair as a very good, brand "G" dupe. Perhaps they were trying to sell the pair with scratched "c"'s at a discount, but that was never disclosed. I still really like them and will wear to complete some very stylish outfits. I gently use my belongings, and I don't think I would have ever scratched them up myself, but for $54 they are mine! Because the seller is not Walmart specifically, a return would have been difficult and time consuming. Sometimes we win-sometimes we lose. In this case, I feel like I broke even.
