Product details
- Includes 30 White Fabric Transfers and 15 Dark Fabric Transfers (please read below for differences between the transfers)
- For use with any inkjet printer (note: not compatible with laser printers)
- Works with 100% cotton / poly cotton blend fabrics
- Fade-resistant coating for vibrant graphics
White Transfers:
- Should only be used with white, off-white, or cream colored fabrics
- White Transfers are transparent after ironing, which means that the fabric color will show through the design
- The design on the back of the White Transfers is Printed in Light Red
- You must flip/mirror the image before printing so that your design does not transfer backwards (this is especially important if there are numbers or letters in your design)
- When you are ready to transfer your image to your fabric, you will lay the transfer on your fabric, image side down (double red lines will be facing you). Then iron following the White Fabric Transfer instructions that came with your product. After ironing, peel the backer while still HOT.
Dark Transfers:
- Can be used with white or colored fabrics
- Dark Transfers are opaque after ironing, which means that any areas left blank will remain white
- The design on the back of the Dark Transfers is Printed in Light Blue
- When printing, your image does not need to be mirrored - PLEASE NOTE - this process is different from the White Transfer
- When you are ready to transfer your image, you will need to cut around your design and peel away the backing paper before ironing. (Hint: leave a small tab to help you start to remove the backing paper and once removed, trim away the tab). Once you have removed the backing paper, you will lay transfer on your fabric, image side up. Cover the transfer with the included overlay paper (this acts as a barrier between the iron and the transfer). Then iron following the Dark Fabric Transfer instructions that came with your product. After ironing, remove overlay paper when cool.

Good product!
Overall, I am pretty happy with the Pen + Gear white and dark fabric transfer paper. It comes with 15 sheets – 10 sheets for white fabric transfers and 5 sheets for dark fabric transfers. I love that these are 8.5 x 11 and fit right in my standard printer! These are so easy to use – you just design what you want on the transfer, print it and put it on your fabric. It doesn't take very long to do and it's easy to follow the instructions. I love that this is an at-home option for making customized items right from your own computer and printer! I feel like the colors are pretty true to what I'd see on a regular printed sheet, and it looks great on the fabric as well. Even after applying the transfer to the fabric, and having washed it, I still think it looks pretty great! I made sure the colors I used were a bit bolder and brighter than I would really want them, and I think that helped make the transfer coloring look good to me! If the colors are too light, I would think it wouldn't show up as well on either the white or dark fabrics. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to try to do their own designs for fabrics.
great quality transfer paper
The fabric transfer paper comes with all the needed instruction to get started. I really like that the seller added an additional guided instruction on top of the instruction already included on the transfer paper sealed package when delivered. I do not have any heat press machine at home but I do have the steam iron at home which is also compatible with this transfer paper. Do take note that this transfer paper only works with inkjet printer and other types like toner printer will not work and even destroy the print. I have an Epson 2720 which is an inkjet printer and compatible with the transfer paper. I first adjusted the print quality of the printer, invert the image to be printer and make a test print. Also take note to put the right side of the paper. I have attached the photo of my test print and so far it looks good. I did got a hard time transferring it using my iron since I need to do it several time and make sure to be very careful not to damage the print have the ink totally stick / dry on the fabric before removing the backing. I washed it after a day with washing machine and still looks good, so far nothing faded or scratched off. Will buy again.
Whats with the negative reviews? This transfer paper worked awesome for me! took me 10 minutes to make my shirt! As long as you READ INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY, turns out pretty cool!! This was my very first tshirt, so I didnt do the best cutting it out and theres a white piece I missed on the corner, but that was my fault. The shirt has been washed and dried according to instructions, even after washing and drying none of the edges are peeling, image has no visible fading so far. will purchase again!
