Comfortable, Stable, Looks Good

I went up 1/2 size, good fit. Comfortable, stable, sleeker and lighter than my previous mids, don't come as high on the ankle. I think of it as more of a rugged running shoe with more stability. Pretty waterproof, but of course, not if the long wet grass is taller than the shoe. Got wet in really long drenched grass once, but otherwise good on normal grass/terrain and in the rain.

Great shoe for hikes in all weather

I bought my Merrells in April 2022 - they're still going strong! Very waterproof - Only once did I have some slight dampness on the top of my sock only (likely due to lack of waterproofing around the laces) after hiking in extremely deep grass in the pouring rain. Otherwise trekking through mud, puddles, creeks and streams is all good. They are a bit loose in the ankle but I like that. Extremely light. Very breathable and warm - I wore them all winter with wool socks. Fit perfectly to size (I did not size up nor down). Never had a blister or any issues of “breaking them in”. Once these wear out (they're still functioning great after a year!) I'm definitely buying another pair.

Moab Speed Mid Gore-Tex Hiking Boots

I hiked up & down for 2.5 miles (not much, but a retired woman with knee replacements, not too bad) with my new boots and the only thing NOT sore was my feet. It was a 90 degree, humid day and I did not notice my feet being hot either. I love them!
