I was looking for a small gold ceiling mounted fan basically to have a bit of air blowing when doing my makeup. This little fan meets my requirements but is not quite what I was expecting. First of all the entire thing is plastic including the "glass" look shades. The lights are very bright and are not LED bulbs but little squares built into the light so if they go out I don't know that they would be replaceable. The fan looks very nice mounted and seems to give off a nice amount of air in my dressing room. Looking up, you can't tell it's plastic. The remote is great, the fan has 3 speeds , the blades can change direction, and the light and fan can be used separately. The only thing that I really dislike is the beeping sound the fan makes each time it is turned off, on, or any time a button is pushed on the remote. When comparing prices I found $89 to $130. This price point seems high to me for a plastic fan, I was expecting metal and glass.
