Great seat. BROKEN HINGES

I give the seat itself (and it's wood core) the two stars. ON THE OTHER HAND, I give the "Release'N' Clean Hinges" an ABSOLUTE FAIL! The hinges aren't pictured in the posting, but they aren't what's typical. They have a base that is secured to the toilet via a plastic screw, and a hinged cap that locks it into place. The hinged cap is what failed MISERABLY. Great idea, but poorly executed. I ordered two of these, for two different homes and the HINGES BROKE/FAILED ON BOTH within about two weeks. On the one in my pic; the left side cap broke off completely, leaving the seat unsecured. The right cap just pops off every time the seat is used, leaving it unsecured and the seat just slides around all it wants

Very cheap made.Bolts and hinges break easy.Piece of crap.Don't waste your money!
