    Tried it on plastic

Didn't work on plastic frame for motorhome screen. It does dry hard and I'd say brittle. Might be worth trying on some things, not sure what but didn't work for me. Looked good before I tried to move screen off work bench.

    Great product

I had an old pair of sandals that the strap was too long when I bought them... I cut the straps and bonded the Velcro fastener back on. They never fit better.

It all depends on how you apply it

I am a jewelry designer and maker. I ordered this stuff looking for a more bonded or stronger adhesive. I am always on the hunt for a better product since I need use different mediums to create my jewelry. I was disappointed at first, realizing the uv light needs to be in contact with the product to work. I didn't give up; this adhesive reminded me of a similar uv reactive product used for Gel Nails. I found so many other ways to use 5 second fix! I am so impressed with everything that it does work on! Nothing, absolutely nothing has become un-bonded that I have been able to use it on. I will continue to order 5 second fix.

    5 second failure

Tried using it on small items, it would not hold. Don't know if this product is different than one on tv. Bought this at Walmart for $9.98. After 4-5 attempts tube was empty. Not recommended

    Didn't Work

Did not work at fixing a part of a laptop computer that had a piece that needed to be put back together. Super Glue did work. I'll try it again on other projects if they occur, but this particular one was a failure.

    Replacement for Super Glue

I have used this product over the past two months with outstanding results. Please note that there is a sheet of instruction in the package that provides information use of the products. I repaired a broken pair of glasses where the plastic rim around the lens was broken in two places by applying a bead of glue between the plastic lens and plastic rim. I had a marble chess piece that had been dropped by the small hands of my grand daughter and broke. From the instructions, I learned that the glue not exposed to the UV light will adhere within 24 hours. I coated the broken interior surface, which would not be exposed to the UV light, then matched the two surfaces together and applied a bead of glue around the circumference of the crack and exposed to the UV light. Marvelously strong repair! I have a wireless mouse that I have had for 15+ years which slides on three plastic pads which had come off. I had used super glue to glue thin pieces of plastic to repair with less than satisfactory results. I used three drops of glue and after exposing the drops to the UV light, I filed the glue down to equal and proper height and the mouse works like new. It was also used for automotive weather stripping. Given previous experience with the limited shelf life of super glue after opening, I was concerned about this products shelf life after first use. The product was opened two months ago and there has been no apparent degradation of the products properties or usefulness. An outstanding product, well designed and replacement for super glue. Read and understand the instructions.

    bad product

This product doesn't work on plastic, metals jewelry, met all pipes and the tube leaks all over itself

I was at work having lunch and my upper denture broke right in half. Couldn't get to the dentist today and I was beside myself on how to get them fixed. I went home and remembered I had bought this product I saw on TV to take with me on vacation. My son helped me by applying the liquid while I held the dentures together. My son put the light on, as directed. He did it for about 30 seconds.we did a second application to reinforce it. It worked.. My dentures were fixed. We wiggled them to see if was sturdy. A few minutes later, they were in my mouth. I was able to eat dinner. I couldn't believe how well it worked.

    great on glass

I used on a glass Eagle I dropped the repair is clear and is holding great

    Terrible glue

It didn't glue anything I put it on. The light needs to be able to get to the glue in order for it to work, but the idea behind glueing two things together is that you can't see inside the break anymore. So ultimately useless.
