I don't know exactly how actually is because mine came broken. I waited so long for this table and today that I wanted to put it together actually was badly damaged. Can't believe my luck. I will say maybe is how it was handle. The table is pretty big and heavy i don't know how it was handle prior. So sad. I want to reorder but not sure if the same thing would happen and wait to just get a broken table
