The General DCS 1100 features a 2.4 in. LCD screen with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Optional probes for this unit include ultra-slim 3.9mm probes, 5.5mm soft-metal, flexible-obedient probes and 6"m articulating probes (of various lengths). The General DCS-1100 Advanced unit offers super-slim probes, straight on or right angle viewing.. The General DCS/1100 Video Borescope System consists of a handheld display unit/controller (the handle) connected to General's P1618FS-49 Switchable Front/Side View Probe (the probe). The handle also can be connected to any high-performance probe for General's DCS1600 High-Performance, Recording Borescope System. Among them are: Slim (5.5mm diameter) soft metal and flexible-obedient probes of various lengths up to 30m (98 ft.). 6m diameter articulating probes of two different lengths (1m and 2m). An ultra-slim (3.9mm) flexible-obedient probe that is thin enough to fit inside the spark plug hole of a gasoline engine or the glow plug hole of a diesel engine. All of the above probes have superior optical performance specifications, including a depth of field of 10 to 6"mm (0.4 to 2.4 in.) and a minimal focal length of 38mm (1.5 in.) for very close-up viewing of areas of interest
