This works VERY well. Easily chops through frozen fruit including bananas. As long as you don't over fill it, it will turn anything to a fine puree quickly. It is VERY loud, but it takes power to chop it all up, so it was expected. Cleanup is easy and fast. If you like smoothies, this is the perfect tool! As far as the build quality, the cups are a very strong plastic, including the lids, so I expect them to last a long time. The base unit is strong and seems very sturdy, the blade lid is easy to put on and off and rinses clean easily. As stated the motor is loud, but the unit is veryeasy to operate. The suction cups on the bottom of the unit keep the whole thing from moving while running. The cups, lids and blade lid is dishwasher safe. Buy it and you won't regret it!

I had borrowed a Nutri Bullet from a friend to try it out. Although it performed well, I was not sold on the quality and construction. I did some homework and decided to purchase the Nutri Ninja BL480. The quality and construction are far superior to the Nutri Bullet. The cups are a heavier plastic. The blade construction is much more solidly built. It is so easy to use and easy to clean. The Auto-iQ feature makes quick work of blending the ingredients to a smooth and consistent texture. Money well spent.
