A deer's sense of smell is 1000 times greater than that of humans. Deer Out deer repellent's strong peppermint scent creates a cool menthol burning sensation that deer are repulsed by. (Deer Out deer repellent has a fresh minty scent to us humans, sort of like a peppermint patty.)

I've used this stuff for several years!! It is the ONLY deterrent that has worked for my azaleas and hostas which the MAMY deer just LOVE!!! Easy application. Not the BEST scent but.. isn't that the point!? It seems to last a long time ( I'm not the most diligent person about reapplying!) After a heavy rain, I DO reapply. If I do do as required, I enjoy NUMEROUS flowers on my azaleas!! Have deer? Get this!!!
