Easy to assemble despite some of the reviews I've read. Stand two pieces up and interlock them, then slide the third piece on from the top. Really best with two people. Very sturdy and holds 5-6 umbrellas. The hooks for mini umbrellas are convenient. This application was for 2 stands at both sides of church entryway. Also sturdy and nice looking without being obtrusive.
